How to Choose a GenAI Trainer in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon: A 2026 Buyer's Guide

India now has the highest workplace GenAI usage in the world. A 2026 Boston Consulting Group study found 92 percent of Indian employees using these tools regularly, against a global average of 72 percent. The same study found only 36 percent feel adequately trained.

That gap is the entire problem. Your teams are already using AI. They are mostly using it badly, and often on company data they should not be pasting anywhere. Training is not about introducing AI to your organisation. It arrived without your permission. Training is about making the usage safe and useful.

Why Delhi NCR is a difficult market to buy in

Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon have more AI trainers per square kilometre than anywhere else in India. Gurgaon alone concentrates the India offices of most global consulting firms, every major BPO, and a dense cluster of manufacturing and real estate head offices. Noida adds IT services and media. Delhi adds government, legal and professional services.

The result is a crowded supply side where almost everyone claims the same thing. Distinguishing between providers has become genuinely hard, and the usual signals, follower counts and certification logos, tell you very little about what happens in the room.

The three reasons corporate AI training fails

  1. The session runs on generic examples. Participants watch someone write a poem about a cat and learn nothing about their own work. If the trainer has not asked for your documents before the session, the session will be generic.

  2. Nobody addresses the licence position. Microsoft Copilot Chat and Enterprise M365 Copilot behave completely differently. Enterprise is grounded on your own files, mail and Teams data. Chat is not. A trainer who does not ask which seats you hold cannot build the right session.

  3. There is no governance module. People leave knowing how to generate but not what must never be pasted into a public tool, and not who verifies output before it goes out. This is the module most providers skip and the one your compliance team will ask about.

Nine questions to ask before you sign

  • Will you build the exercises from our own documents, and what do you need from us?

  • Which tools will you cover, and does that match the licences we actually hold?

  • What proportion of the session is hands-on, and what is demonstration?

  • What is your maximum batch size for a genuinely hands-on session?

  • Is there a governance module, and what does it cover?

  • What do participants take away in writing?

  • What support exists after the session, and for how long?

  • Will you sign an NDA and work within what our IT team has already approved?

  • Who actually delivers the session, you or someone from a bench?

That last question matters more than people expect. Many providers sell on a senior name and deliver with a junior associate. Ask it directly and get the answer in writing.

What a well-run NCR session looks like

A pre-session survey goes to every participant. Five to eight anonymised working documents come back from your side. The trainer builds exercises on those. On the day, people work on their own laptops on their own tasks. Nothing confidential is uploaded. Everyone leaves with a prompt library built during the session, a one-page usage standard the group drafted themselves, and a named person who owns verification in each function.

If a trainer has not asked for your documents before the session, you are buying a demonstration, not training.
