TEDx College Events in India 2026: Regional Watchlist
Updated: 2 hours ago
REVISED GUIDE • 6 OCTOBER 2026
This regional watchlist helps readers explore TEDx college events in India in 2026 without treating college reputation as an event ranking. It covers campus programmes in the north, east, central, west and south of the country. Each row identifies its institution, city, verified 2026 date and source type. TED event pages provide the licensed listings where retrieved; IIT Roorkee and BITS Goa also have official institutional or government records of their completed editions. Dates and status were checked on 6 October 2026. Upcoming listings deserve another check before travel, while a completed edition is useful for learning about the campus team rather than assuming the next year is confirmed.

Before contacting an organiser
Choose events by theme, location, audience and practical access requirements, rather than treating the order of this list as a ranking.
Follow the specific edition's official source and verify the licensed TED listing before relying on tickets or speaker announcements.
For a past edition, use its recap or talks to understand the programme; ask separately whether a future edition is licensed.
For a speaker idea, outline the central insight, evidence and relevance to the event theme in a short proposal.
Confirm accommodation, transport, accessibility and admission directly with the organiser before committing to a visit.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ranking of India's best college TEDx events?
No. It is a sourced regional watchlist. No common quality score, attendance data or judging process supports a best-to-worst order. Use the institutions, themes and confirmed dates to compare the events that matter to you.
Which listed events are still upcoming?
As of 6 October 2026, TED lists IET Lucknow and Geethanjali CET on 10 October, SISTec Bhopal on 24 October and IISc Bengaluru on 25 October. Recheck those pages for changes before planning attendance.
Does a 2026 edition confirm a 2027 opportunity?
No. Each edition needs separate licensing and organiser confirmation. TEDx speaking is based on local curation, and speakers must not pay for slots. Sponsorship, advertising or a workshop discussion must remain separate from speaker selection.
