Linkedin: Research has found the use of fake LinkedIn accounts created with artificial intelligence-generated (AI) profile photos. LinkedIn discovered as many as 1,000 fake profiles per region in the case of LinkedIn.
Facebook: Around 4% of all ad clicks with impressions on Facebook are from bots. Facebook purged 2.2 billion fake accounts from January to March 2019.
