Ask a producer what slows a film down and the answer is rarely the camera. It is the research before a script locks, the fifth version of a treatment, the pitch deck for a platform, the shoot schedule, the subtitle file at two in the morning. That paperwork is where Claude earns its keep, and it is what I would teach a production house, an OTT content team, a music label or a festival office. I wrote this guide for the people who organise those sessions and for event producers who want an AI talk at an award night or industry conclave.

The business case is large. The FICCI EY report released on 24 March 2026 put India's media and entertainment sector at INR 2.78 trillion in 2025, with filmed entertainment at a record INR 205 billion and more than 1,900 films released. The legal ground has also shifted: since 20 February 2026, India's amended IT Rules require labels on synthetically generated content, and courts have protected performers' faces and voices against AI misuse.

Top 10 Claude trainers and AI speakers for Bollywood events in 2027

1. Parikshit Khanna, Digital Training Jet (Delhi NCR, onsite and live online)

I teach Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Gemini to working teams. To be clear, I have no listed engagement with a film studio. My closest work is in media and broadcasting: a Generative AI and ChatGPT workshop for Prasar Bharati's National Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia in December 2024, and AI for radio and television journalism at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, in October 2026. I gave the TEDx talk "Redesigning Work with Artificial Intelligence" on 1 August 2026, and I ran an AI marketing programme with Claude and Gemini for Emami's Bangkok team in September 2026. I teach the writing, research and planning side of production; I do not make AI videos.

2. Whistling Woods International, Applied AI Filmmaking (Mumbai, hybrid)

The film school's Short Course Unit lists Applied AI Filmmaking, a four week hybrid intensive of live hours plus assignments for filmmakers, content creators, editors and storytellers, open to industry professionals. It teaches AI assisted pipelines from script to edit, including video generation, lip sync and VFX, and ends with a team capstone. In June 2026 WWI also announced an AI lab with invideo at its Filmcity campus for its own learners.

  • Best for: directors and editors who want to make AI footage themselves.

  • Format: four week hybrid intensive.

3. FTII Centre for Open Learning (Mumbai and other cities)

FTII runs a steady calendar of AI short courses. One example, The Art of Filmmaking and The Craft of AI Cinema in Goregaon, Mumbai (29 September to 13 October 2026), paired a five day foundation in screenplay, scheduling and shooting, including AI for brainstorming, with a ten day AI filmmaking masterclass, taught in English and Hindi. Similar workshops have run in Goa and Bengaluru and online.

  • Best for: crew members who want an institute certificate in AI filmmaking.

  • Format: short in person or online courses.

4. NobleProg India, Claude AI for Content Creation (Online or onsite)

Among NobleProg's Claude courses for India is Claude AI for Content Creation, aimed at writers, content creators and marketers, alongside Claude Cowork and Projects courses. Training runs online live or onsite at NobleProg's Mumbai classrooms or your office. It is a published outline, so ask the trainer to swap generic examples for loglines and synopses.

5. Anthropic Academy (Online)

Anthropic's free learning hub, with AI Fluency, a Claude for work track and a Claude for personal track, each with certificates. It is a good first step for assistant directors and writers who want to learn at night between shoots.

  • Best for: individuals on irregular schedules.

  • Format: self paced online.

6. Coursera, AI Fundamentals with Claude (Online)

A beginner course of about four hours from Advancing Women in Tech and Anthropic, part of a Claude specialisation. It covers structuring prompts with role, goal and tone, using Claude as a thinking partner, and turning rough ideas into deliverables with Artifacts and connectors, with a shareable certificate.

7. Media and Entertainment Skills Council (India)

MESC is the sector skill council for media and entertainment, set up in 2012, promoted by FICCI and working under NSDC. It writes occupational standards, affiliates training partners and assesses and certifies trainees. Its page does not mention a Claude or generative AI course, so ask its affiliated partners what they cover.

  • Best for: HR heads building certified skill pathways for crew.

  • Format: standards, assessment and partner training.

8. National Film and Television School, AI for Film and TV (UK, online)

NFTS runs a six month part time certificate with Amazon MGM Studios, online on Monday evenings from 2 November 2026, with a London showcase in May 2027. It covers IP, copyright and licensing, synthetic likenesses and voices, and AI across pre production to post. It is open only to UK residents, but its syllabus is a useful benchmark for any studio policy.

  • Best for: studio heads drafting an AI policy who want a reference syllabus.

  • Format: online, part time; UK residents only.

9. Indian Speaker Bureau, operated by SpeakIn (India)

For an award night or conclave, this bureau's generative AI category lists enterprise AI leaders, consultants and researchers with booking enquiries. It notes that a listing is not proof of availability. Few profiles are film specific, so brief candidates on your audience.

10. Outstanding Speakers Bureau (India)

This bureau offers keynotes, panels, masterclasses, brand associations and celebrity appearances, and keeps an Artificial Intelligence topic. That mix suits entertainment events where an AI talk shares the stage with talent.

  • Best for: award shows and festivals mixing celebrity and tech segments.

  • Format: several engagement types.

Where Claude fits in a film team's week

  • Script research: period details, locations, legal and medical plausibility checks, always verified against real sources.

  • Treatments and synopses: tighten a 20 page treatment into a one page note for a platform, in the writer's voice.

  • Pitch decks: draft the story, audience and comparables in Claude Slides, then hand to your designer.

  • Schedules: turn a scene breakdown into a day wise plan and spot clashes in actor availability.

  • Subtitle drafts: create first pass subtitle text from your script; Anthropic says it has improved Claude in 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, but a native speaker must check every line.

Claude works with text, documents and slides. It does not replace your writers, and it does not generate film footage.


The legal side for 2027

  • Synthetic content: MeitY's IT Amendment Rules, notified on 10 February 2026 and in force from 20 February 2026, require platforms to label synthetically generated content and carry provenance metadata, with action on certain orders required within three hours. Expect platforms to ask whether an AI altered promo is synthetic.

  • Personality rights: in September 2025 the Delhi High Court restrained the unauthorised use of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's name, image and likeness, explicitly including generative AI, deepfakes and face morphing. In 2024 the Bombay High Court protected Arijit Singh's voice and persona against AI voice cloning.

  • Copyright: DPIIT's committee released a working paper on 8 December 2025 proposing a hybrid statutory licence, with royalties, for training AI on copyrighted works. Treat scripts and music you upload with the same care as any unreleased asset.

How to compare Claude trainers for film and entertainment teams

  1. Ask whether they have worked with a studio, OTT or label, with dates. I have not; my nearest work is broadcasting and journalism.

  2. Check they separate Claude (writing, research, planning) from AI video tools.

  3. Confirm current knowledge: Opus 5.5 (22 September 2026) and the single Claude app with Docs and Slides since 16 September 2026.

  4. Insist that unreleased scripts are handled under your NDA and plan settings.

  5. Look for a module on labels, likeness and copyright.

  6. Ask for practice on your formats: treatments, call sheets, subtitle files.

FAQs

Do you make AI videos or trailers?

No. I train teams to use Claude for writing, research, planning and presentations. For AI footage, look at the film school courses above.

Is it safe to upload an unreleased script to Claude?

Only under your company's approved plan and settings, with access limited to the people on the project. On Team and Enterprise plans, training on your content is off by default.

Can Claude write subtitles in Hindi?

It can draft subtitle text in Hindi and several other Indian languages, but every line needs review by a native speaker and your subtitle editor.

Can you speak at a film festival or award event?

Yes, onsite by arrangement or live online, with a talk on how AI is changing creative work and a short live Claude demo.

Does using Claude make us liable under the deepfake rules?

The IT Rules mainly place duties on platforms, but any AI altered likeness or voice raises consent and personality rights questions. Ask your lawyer before release.
