Buying ChatGPT training for a Bengaluru company? A clear brief helps HR and L&D compare proposals, involve IT at the right point and choose a workshop people can apply. Begin with the audience and the work sample you want participants to complete. Then decide the duration, tools, delivery format and evaluation.
This checklist is for HR leaders, learning teams, department heads and procurement colleagues arranging a programme with Parikshit Khanna or comparing options. For the practical curriculum and departmental exercises, read the Bengaluru corporate ChatGPT training guide.
1. Describe the audience before selecting the agenda
Record who will attend, their current experience and what they are expected to do after the session. A group of first-time users needs a different starting point from a finance team already experimenting with reports. Senior leaders may need decision frameworks and reviewed examples, while working teams need time to practise.
Departments, roles and estimated participant count.
Beginner, mixed or experienced audience, based on a short pre-session question or task.
Language and accessibility requirements.
Whether participants can use their own laptops and approved accounts.
One or two priority work tasks per audience group.
If the audience is mixed, agree common foundations and a small selection of role exercises. Avoid an agenda that promises detailed practice for every department in a short session.
2. Define outcomes you can review
Replace a broad goal such as “make everyone AI-ready” with an output and a quality standard. For example: “Participants will draft an employee policy FAQ using a supplied sample policy, identify unanswered cases and show the source for each answer.” That brief gives the trainer and the reviewer something concrete to assess.
Task: What job should the participant practise?
Inputs: What permitted information will the exercise use?
Output: What document, comparison, summary or prompt should be produced?
Review: What makes the output useful and who checks it?
Boundary: Which decisions must remain with an authorised person?
Choose a small number of priorities. A workshop for proposal drafting and factual review should not also imply that the team will deploy a production customer-service system by the end of the day. Implementation work needs its own agreed scope.
3. Confirm accounts and IT approval before booking
Ask IT or the relevant workspace owner to confirm which ChatGPT accounts participants may use, the features available and whether file uploads are permitted. Test a fictional document and spreadsheet in advance. OpenAI notes that supported files and available capabilities can vary with the plan, model and workspace; see its file-upload guidance.
Record who provides subscriptions, how participants sign in, whether external sites are blocked and who can help with access on the day. Where a feature is unavailable, agree a suitable demonstration or alternative exercise before the session. Personal accounts should not become the default simply because workspace access has not been arranged.
For a Business workspace, read OpenAI's data and privacy information. OpenAI excludes Business workspace data from model training by default. Your organisation still needs to decide which information may be used, who may access it and how outputs will be handled.
4. Agree permitted materials and a simple exercise pack
Use fictional, public, sanitised or explicitly authorised material. A useful pack can be small: one policy, one synthetic spreadsheet, one service brief and a few deliberately incomplete records. Missing details are helpful in an exercise because they reveal whether participants know when to ask a question.
Remove personal identifiers and information the training environment is not authorised to handle.
Identify the source and version of each exercise document.
Check that numbers, column names, units and dates are understandable.
Agree whether participants may keep or share the exercise outputs.
Assign an internal reviewer for any company-specific interpretation.
For a finance exercise, independently validate the source numbers before assessing the explanation. OpenAI's data-analysis guidance recommends checking the generated analysis and assumptions; a neat chart should not be the only evidence of a correct answer.
5. Compare delivery options against practice time
Onsite at your Bengaluru venue: confirm travel, room setup, audio, Wi-Fi, power points, participant devices and the agreed timing.
Live online: confirm the meeting platform, participant access, interaction plan and how the trainer will review exercises.
Single workshop: use a narrow set of outcomes and allow time for a first attempt, feedback and revision.
Department series: consider separate sessions when the work, approval rules and examples differ substantially.
Ask how much of the proposed agenda involves participant practice. A longer list of tools is not a substitute for completing and reviewing a relevant task. Confirm break times and any recording arrangement in writing.
6. Request the same information from each provider
A consistent proposal checklist makes comparison easier. Ask for:
Named facilitator and relevant programme experience.
Audience assumptions, participant capacity and starting level.
Learning outcomes and a timed agenda.
Tools, account requirements and responsibility for subscriptions.
Exercise examples, permitted inputs and participant deliverables.
Assessment method and who reviews the output.
Materials, completion documentation and any follow-up included.
Delivery format, date, venue or online platform.
Professional fee, applicable taxes, travel and other agreed expenses.
Payment, cancellation, rescheduling and confirmation terms.
There is no fixed corporate fee on this page. The written quotation should reflect your audience, scope, preparation, format and delivery arrangements. Avoid relying on an old blog price or assuming that subscriptions, travel, implementation and continuing support are automatically included.
7. Evaluate learning with a small, fair rubric
Ask participants to complete a short baseline task and a fresh task after guided practice. Use comparable difficulty and judge the work against the same criteria. A participant should explain what changed in the prompt and why the final answer is more reliable.
Accuracy: Does the output match the supplied facts and checked numbers?
Completeness: Does it address the requested task and identify missing information?
Traceability: Can the reviewer find the supporting source?
Judgement: Does it preserve approval boundaries and flag uncertain claims?
Usability: Is the result clear enough for the intended colleague or customer?
If measuring time, define the task, record the starting point and include review and correction time. A workshop satisfaction score and a business productivity outcome measure different things. Agree any later evaluation, owner and reporting date as part of the programme rather than promising an unsupported percentage improvement.
8. Plan how learning will reach the workplace
After the programme, choose a few approved tasks that managers can review. Give each task an owner, a reviewer and a way to record useful prompt improvements. An internal learning channel can collect questions, but avoid sharing confidential input or unreviewed output more widely than permitted.
Agree whether the trainer's scope ends with the workshop or includes a review session, resources or further support. Record those commitments in the proposal. This gives participants a clear next step and helps the buyer compare the actual service being offered.

A brief you can copy into your enquiry

Questions HR and L&D teams often ask
Should we train everyone together?
A common foundation can work for a mixed group. Separate departmental practice is useful where the inputs, outputs and approval rules differ. Decide after reviewing the audience brief.
Can we request a programme using our own examples?
Yes. Agree the permitted information and preparation scope first. Fictional or sanitised examples can reflect your workflow while keeping unsuitable company data out of the exercise.
Do we need paid accounts for every participant?
Confirm the account and feature requirements for the agreed exercises before procurement. Plan limits and workspace settings affect what participants can do. Subscriptions are included only when explicitly stated in the quotation.
Can we request a certificate or follow-up session?
State the requirement in your brief. Any completion documentation, resources and follow-up are confirmed in the agreed scope; do not assume an external vendor credential is included.
Where can we see the training outline?
Read the corporate ChatGPT service page and Bengaluru workshop guide. Ask for a tailored proposal after sharing your audience and tasks.
